Italy, a country I would like to visit

Hi everyone, today I´m going to talk about a country that I would like to visit someday and that is Italy.

The main reasons for travel by Italy are that  I like italian language, I love italian gastronomy and I have curiosity about the art and architecture of the cities, specially Florence. I know that in Florence you can appreciate the Renaissance´s legacy through his streets, buildings and museums. Besides, in Florence you can go to the Uffizi Gallery, the place where is located "The Birth of Venus", a famous paint of Sandro Boticcelli and other pieces of art.

On the other hand, I would enjoy too much learning about ancient Roma visiting the Roman Colusseum or the ruins in Pompeii. It was surprissing for me to know that Pompeii is a city destroyed by a volcanic eruption for a long time, so it cointains a lot of archaeological rests, including the residents who died instantaneously during the disaster. For that reason, Pompeii looks like a "frozen in time" city.

Also, I want to know Venice and get around the city by the renowned gondolas or witness a venetian carnival. 

I would not live there forever, because I like Chile and probably I would feel alone if I don´t know someone in the foreign, but maybe I could stay in the country for a season studying or learning about his culture.
