Hi!. I hope you are fine, this is my second blog and this time I´m going to talk about the best concert that I´ve had.
Personally, I enjoy a lot every chance for go to every concert, but if I have to choose one, I think that Depeche Mode´s concert was the best.
Depeche Mode is a british synth pop and new wave band formed in 1980, very popular in that decade. The original members are David Gahan, Martin Gore, Vince Clarke and Andrew Fletcher. Later, in 1981, Vince Clarke left the band and was replaced by Alan Wilder. Their songs create an special atmosphere a bit dark. They use principally keyboards and synthesizers to compose his pieces. Besides, David´s special voice or Martin´s choirs and lyrics makes more nice to hear their music.
I knew this band because is one of the favourite bands of my dad. They went to Chile in March of 2018, so me and my dad went to their concert. It was so great!, the public was mostly older due to the band´s age, I was enjoying it, because I really felt that I was in a 80´s party. Also, the rest of the people looked nostalgic but happy too. I loved the talent of every member of the band, and particularly David, the vocalist, stole part of the show because he was being himself: dancing and encouraging the public.
I remember that after the concert, my interest for Depeche Mode increased and I listened their discography. I recommend too much this band, specially the first studio albums, like "Black Celebration" or "Music for the Masses". Generally, the decade of 1980s are full of very talented artists.
That´s all, thanks for read my blog, have a nice day!
