All my life I have felt connected with cinema, I think is a wonderful way to make art. It´s incredible how many feelings you can experiment watching a movie, at the same time you can reflect about a topic. I love cinema and series, even though recently I just haven´t watched many films (maybe that is what I need haha).
When I was a child, my favorite movies were "The Lion King" and "Mulan". I used to enjoy to sing the soundtrack of those and other films, and that contributed to my future fondness for the musicals. So yes, one of my favorite genres are musicals, specially the movie "La la land".I also like classical cinema, suspense and comedy.
Before, drama wasn´t a genre of my taste, because I hate to cry due to a story, but after I realized that exists a lot of good drama films. One of those are "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind".
The story is about a couple: Joel (Jim Carrey) and Clementine (Kate Winslet). At the beginning, Joel meets Clementine in a train station. They start to talk and later we can see that both fall in love and initiate a relationship. One day, Clementine behaves as if she doesn´t know Joel, and he realizes that she went to a doctor who can remove the memories of the people. Joel doesn´t understand why Clementine wanted to move away him from her life, but he decides to do the same thing and makes contact with the doctor.
The plots where the world of dreams is explored are the most complex and interesting.
