I think to talk about this topic is a little sad. In any case, my family and I are fine, because nobody of us have been sick and we live close each other. However, in the middle of pandemic I relocated with my dad, so I don´t see my mom and my siblings all the time. I think it was a good chance, but sometimes I miss my old home.
What I really miss is the University, because every day I remember less the sensation of wake up early, take the underground, walk around the campus and get in the classrooom. Besides, the online study is more difficult than you could suppose, because you have to make a strong effort to organize the homeworks and be focused despite your mood could not be the best and you can´t interact with your classmates and teachers, so is really hard to manage all those factors in a balanced way.
I really hope the day that we could go to the outside and see each other. I would feel so happy and free to travel around the city and go to everywhere, like a park or the cinema. Anyway, I prefer to not be so optimistic, because the virus probably will stay with us for a long time, and even if it dies, the return to normality will be slow.

Something positive that happened to me this quarantine is that I learnt to cook and bake and I discovered that is really a enjoyable hobby, specially to bake. To watch new recipes and then do it yourself is really cool. I like to prepare apple pie, carrot cake and cinnamon rolls because those are my favourite candies, and also I enjoy to make and decorate cakes for special dates.
A funny anecdote about quarantine is that I finally completed a videogame that I never could complete when I was a child, because always used to game over. That game is Resident Evil 4, even I finished it two times.
Finally, this pandemic really could be a opportunity to improve the society, but that depends of the actions of everyone. We could develop more empathy and understand that humans are sociable, so we need each other and is necesary to value our loved ones. After all, maybe we could learn to keep washing our hands and always clean our environment.
They warned about the "health card today"! A light on the way Fran hahaha.... and.... my favorite dessert is also carrot cake, hopefully one day we can share recipes ;)
ResponderBorrarOh I really would like to bake some things but my mom never lets me use the kitchen haha , She says I won't clean anything after all, but that's a lie :( I'm happy that you and your family haven't caught the virus. Regards.
ResponderBorrarI love the fact that many people have taken advantage of the quarantine to learn new things.
ResponderBorrarI hope you continue to enjoy cooking <3
I also like to look for dessert recipes in my spare times.
ResponderBorrarIs very nice the way that toy see the pandemic, like a chance to improve :)
ResponderBorrarIt is great to know how we can take and share the positives we have experienced during the pandemic... Thank you for sharing with us your new hobby :)!.
ResponderBorrarIt is very difficult to concentrate with everything that is happening in the world, especially when people are dying due to lack of medical attention and lack of resources, also considering the mismanagement of the pandemic in Chile. I send you a lot of encouragement, you can!
ResponderBorrarI also learned to cook, it's really fun!
ResponderBorrarI'm agree with you, I miss University too:c
ResponderBorrarOh, carrot cake is one of my favorite desserts too! I wish I could prepare one, like you, but every time I enter the kitchen it sets on fire hahaha.
